Definition of Pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor:
  • With knowledge of the character of the material or performance,
  • Creating, recording, photographing, filming, developing, or publishing any material depicting a minor engaging in sexual activity, masturbating or participating in bestiality, or
  • Purchasing, soliciting, or possessing such material.
Potential Penalties:

A violation of this law is a second, third, or fourth degree felony and can be penalized by a prison sentence of 6 months to 8 years and a fine of up to $15,000. There are also mandatory sexually oriented offender registration requirements for anyone convicted of this type of offense.
