Funding, aggravated funding of drug or marihuana trafficking ORC § 2925.05

Defined:
  • Knowingly providing money or other items of value,
  • With the purpose of the recipient of the payment to obtain a controlled substance.
  • If the drug is a schedule I or II substance, with the exception of marihuana, the drug trafficking is considered aggravated.
Potential Penalties:

Funding of drug or marihuana trafficking is a felony offense in Ohio and can be penalized by a prison sentence of up to 11 years and a fine of up to $20,000.
