Misuse of credit cards ORC § 2913.21
- Practicing deception;
- For the purpose of getting a credit card; or
- Knowingly buying a credit card from someone other than the issuer.
Misuse of credit cards is typically a misdemeanor of the first degree and can be penalized by a jail sentence of up to 180 days and a fine of up to $1000.
